IMEP envisions to be a highly respected professional organization in the Philippines promoting national progress and global competitiveness through materials science and engineering.
Mission
IMEP missions are to:
(i) Promote materials science and engineering and its prestige;
(ii) Provide opportunities for its members for growth, leadership, and excellence in the field; and
(iii) Help in the advancement of materials science and engineering in the Philippines for our sustainable growth and development.
The Institute of Materials Engineers of the Philippines (IMEP), Inc. is a professional organization incorporated in May 31, 2013 as a non-stock and non-profit corporation under the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) with the following purposes and objectives:
To be the organization of professionals and engineers involved in the practice of materials engineering in the Philippines;
To support, promote, and actively engage in education, practice,
dissemination of technical information in the field
of materials engineering; and
To liaise, work, and cooperate with private and government companies and institutions for the promotions of materials engineering.
